Samsung has recently unveiled two nice looking mid-range phones and the bigger and better version between the two phones is the Samsung Galaxy A6+. There are no major visible changes in design compared to the standard version but there are some better features included in the Plus version. 6.0-inch Super AMOLED Display

While the screen size might lead you to believe that it will be a near bezel-less display like most of the phones released nowadays, that’s not the case here. It’s actually a big 6.0-inch screen with 75.3% screen-to-body ratio which makes it quite big. This big display will be showing  2220 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 411ppi of pixel density. 24-Megapixel Front Camera

This is where the Samsung Galaxy A6+ truly shines, it’s front camera which will be a whopping 24-megapixel one. Moreover, this front camera will be accompanied by a LED flash as well. It’s not the first time for a front camera to get a LED flash but it’s getting rare these days. This front camera will show up with f/1.9 aperture which means users can expect better pictures even in places with poor lighting. As for the rear camera, it will be a pair of cameras: one 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and one 5-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. It will be capable of capturing only 1080p videos which is slightly disappointing. 3500mAh Li-Ion Non-removable Battery

As mentioned earlier, it’s a mid-range phone and some of you might be disappointed to see that the processor will be a Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and it will be paired with an optional 3 or 4GB of RAM. It’s not too difficult these days to find a phone with better specs than this if you compare the price. However, users will get a big 3500mAh battery which should easily last a day or two. Other notable features include: microSD card slot, 32/64GB built-in storage, Dolby Atmos sound (headphones only), USB 2.0 port, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and a fingerprint sensor on the back. There is the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Asus Zenfone Max 2016 if you just want a phone with long battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy A6+ is expected to cost about KWD 100 when it’s here. The Samsung Galaxy A6+ release date Kuwait is a mystery at this point but it should be here sometimes in May or June, 2018.
