The idea of wearable cameras is not really a popular one. However, things might change with the Snapchat Spectacles. Whether you like Snapchat as a social networking site or not, this wearable camera which you can also think of as a smart glass will definitely grab your attention. To learn if it will be a good idea to get this glass or not and the Snapchat Spectacles Kuwait price, keep reading.
Most of the augmented reality focused smart glasses or wearables released nowadays are quite heavy or looks odd. It won’t be the case with the Snapchat Spectacles as this funky looking circle shaped glass looks quite good on almost anyone. It’s quite lightweight which means you don’t have to worry about wearing a heavy camera. You will notice two front facing cameras each placed in the corner of the lens. There are no modules to ruin the design as it’s placed nicely in the frame between temples and hinges. When you will start recording, the circles housing camera will turn on spinning LED lights which looks really cool. Moreover, you will notice a light when it’s about to end recording a video. Considering the Snapchat Spectacles it looks slightly cheap. It’s not possible to wear this glass over other glasses which is slightly disappointing. There is the Samsung Gear S3 and Apple Watch if you want a smartwatch with your wearables.
Users might find it difficult at first to pair the wearable with their smartphone as there is no manual guide. However, there is a three step diagram that will help you to pair the glass with the Snapchat app. Once the pairing part is done users will get a link to FAQ with Spectacles Support and other necessary instructions. There is not much included in the package, a yellow felt charging case, a USB cable and a cleaning cloth shaped like Snapchat’s ghost icon. You can charge your spectacles four times with the case which should be more than enough to get you through a day. It’s compatible with both Android and iOS devices which means using it with the iPhone 7 Plus or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge won’t be a problem. It will work with iPhone 5 or later devices running iOS 8 or Android smartphones running Android 4.3.
Using this wearable is extremely easy. There is only one button in the glass and all you have to do to start a 10 second snap is to tap it once. Users can add 10 more seconds to their videos by pressing it again. To stop shooting, users have to press the button for two seconds. There are different LED flashes for different notifications that includes low battery, storage full and recording in progress. It is possible to record these snaps in either HD or SD. A negative thing about this glass is that it works only with the Snapchat app.
This wearable camera is available at the moment for only about 0 KWD. However getting one of these can be really difficult thanks to its limited availability.
